Terms and conditions
Last updated: 19 September 2026.
These terms govern the use of Rendevo, the service that lets you create a digital invitation, share its link and collect responses from your guests. By using Rendevo you accept what is written below.
1. The service
Rendevo is currently offered free of charge, during an early launch phase of the product. We don't guarantee it will stay free forever, or that every current feature will remain available unchanged: if something substantial changes in the future (a paid plan, a usage limit), we'll tell you before it applies to your account.
2. Your account
You can use Rendevo without registering: in that case your invitation stays tied to the browser you created it with. Registering with an email and password lets you find your invitations from any device and create more than one. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens with your account.
3. The content you upload
Text, photos, music and any other content you add to your invitation remain yours: we don't become their owner, we only keep them to show them within the service (to you and to the people you invite). You are solely responsible for what you upload, and in particular:
- Music. If you add a song to your invitation you must hold the rights to use it — because you wrote or composed it, because it's public domain or under a licence that allows it, or because you've obtained permission from the rights holder. Uploading copyrighted music without the right to do so is a breach of these terms, and potentially of the law: the responsibility is entirely yours, and we reserve the right to remove the file and, in more serious cases, to suspend the account.
- Photos and text. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, that violates a third party's privacy, or that is offensive, illegal or misleading.
If someone reports in good faith that content uploaded by a user infringes their rights, we may remove it without notice while we look into the report.
4. The data of people who respond to your invitation
When someone responds to your invitation (attendance, plus-ones, notes about the menu), that data is collected by you, as the event organiser: we only show it to you, on your invitation's responses page. Since this is personal data belonging to third parties (your guests), it's good practice to let them know their responses will be visible to the person organising the event. How we handle personal data on Rendevo in detail will be covered by a separate privacy notice.
5. What's not allowed
Besides what's already said about content, Rendevo must not be used to: send invitations to people who haven't asked for them (spam), try to access accounts or invitations that aren't yours, overload or damage the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Rendevo running without interruptions, but we can't guarantee it: it's a service in an early launch phase, offered as is. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from the use, or the inability to use, the service (for example, an invitation being temporarily unreachable). We recommend not relying on Rendevo as the only copy of content you particularly care about.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time, especially while the service is in this early phase. The date at the top of this page shows the last update. If a change were significant, we'll try to give reasonable notice to account holders.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under consumer-protection jurisdiction where applicable, or otherwise the competent Italian court.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses the technical cookies it needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel run by default and stop if you decline them in the banner: Clarity records how the site is used; the Pixel sends Meta visits and purchases, together with your account's email address hashed (SHA-256), to measure advertising campaigns. You can change your mind at any time.
9. Contact
For questions about these terms, or to report content you believe infringes your rights, contact us through the channels listed on the Rendevo website.
